Between 2004 and 2011, Mona held many positions in the film and media fields. She worked as an associate producer in Fantascope Prod, a production house for the acclaimed film director Philippe Aractingi where she started her career as an assistant producer for Al-Bosta", an award winning road movie. After 4 years in Fantascope, Mona was offered the position of Executive Producer at Future News Television: Back then, she created and produced "Tawasol" a weekly social talk show that highlights civil society initiatives and debates problematic issues of the public sphere. Mona produced more than 200 episodes of Tawasol.
In addition to her work as a producer, Mona directed many short films and wrote the script of "Rahhala" an animation series of 30 episodes for children about Ibn Battouta's adventures. The series ought to be screened starting Ramadan season 2018.
